Dowden’s journey hasn’t been without its challenges. In 2023, she bravely announced her breast cancer diagnosis, subsequently undergoing a mastectomy and chemotherapy. Most recently, she shared the fantastic news of ‘no evidence of disease,’ marking a significant milestone in her recovery. Furthermore, she recently completed a second mastectomy for preventative measures, demonstrating her unwavering commitment to her health.

Speaking about her upcoming appearance on Celebrity Gogglebox, Dowden shared her enthusiasm for watching television with Gu, highlighting his honest and unfiltered commentary. “He brings good snacks, but not always!” she quipped.
