Missed call thriller ends with a twist, audrey revealed as culprit
Channel 5's latest drama, Missed Call, has left viewers stunned after a dramatic finale that saw the true culprit behind Katie Gleason's disappearance revealed.

Audrey's motives unveiled
Audrey Lambert, the school cleaner, was found to be behind Katie's abduction. Initially, fans believed Rupert Graves' character, Jason Bradley, was the shady figure responsible, but the truth was far more sinister.
Audrey's motive for taking Katie stemmed from her own daughter, Odile, who had vanished five years prior. Audrey was incensed that the authorities had not properly investigated Odile's disappearance, leading her to believe that if a British student went missing, they would take action.
After spotting Katie, who resembled Odile, Audrey decided to kidnap her as a means to spur the investigation into her daughter's case. The plan worked, as Katie's disappearance led to a reopening of the probe into Odile's disappearance.
However, Audrey's actions were not the only shocking twist in the series. It was later revealed that police officer Jerome Ricard had killed Odile in a drink-driving accident, then covered it up to avoid jail time. When his former partner discovered the truth, Ricard resorted to murder and attempted to frame him for Odile's death.
Throughout the show, Jason Bradley, Sarah's boyfriend, was portrayed as a suspicious character. While he was indeed unfaithful and had an inappropriate relationship with Katie, he ultimately turned out to be a hero, returning to help Sarah and getting shot in the process.
