Combat trial: prehospital plasma administration

The COMBAT trial investigates whether administering fresh frozen plasma to severely injured trauma patients during ambulance transport, rather than after arrival at the hospital, can reduce hemorrhage and mortality. Early administration of plasma aims to address coagulopathy and restore blood volume more quickly.
