Guests can unwind with a soak in the indoor pool, which flows seamlessly into an outdoor infinity pool surrounded by snow. The spa menu features an array of treatments using organic, spa-grade brands like Ilā, Sisley, and Cellcosmet. I opted for a tension-alleviating aromatherapy massage, which included a satisfying kneading of my trapezius muscles.
The gym is equally impressive, boasting panoramic views of the Graubünden mountains and a collaboration with local Pilates studio The Beat. Run by charming instructor Bibi, The Beat offers a range of small group and individual reformer classes at Suvretta, as well as retreat packages.
Beyond the spa, Suvretta House offers an array of indulgences. The grand lobby, adorned with carved columns, marble, and high ceilings, sets the tone for a bygone era of opulence.
Guests can enjoy tableside theatrics at the Grand restaurant, sample Swiss specialties at the Stube, or take a seat at Anton's Bar for a Negroni-fueled evening. In the winter, the property's ski-in, ski-out location makes it an ideal base for hitting the slopes, while summer brings clay courts, a driving range, and horseback and bike excursions.
With its commitment to sustainability, Suvretta House powers its pools with a renewable FEKA system, extracting thermal energy from wastewater. Its restaurants prioritize locally sourced ingredients for traditional Swiss dishes.
